Receive The Gift of Salvation
The Gift

To build a relationship with Jesus:
John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

To build a relationship with one another:
John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. v.35 By this men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

To reach the (lost) world:
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but save the world through him.

From House to House:
Acts 20:20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you, but have taught you publicly and from house to house.

City to City, and Nation to Nation:
Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..

CGWM Vision

"To be an ever-expanding, authentic community committed to building a relationship with Jesus Christ, with one another, and to reach others that are searching for meaning rather than absolute truth, from house to house, city to city, nation to nation"

There are three main aspects to this vision:

1) We strive to be an "ever-expanding" network of worship groups. Now, this does include expansion in numbers, but also expansion spiritually. We want to reach all who are not yet reached. We also want to reach the “wounded eagles”, those who have, at some time or another, been hurt in relationships with Christians or disillusioned with what they know as "religion" or "the Church" or have come to believe that God is not there for them.

2) Second, we want to be an authentic community. Too many Christians these days go to church together, and then never speak to or see each other throughout the rest of the week. We feel the Church can be where serious relationships can be formed. We want to be a group of people who come together, not just because they want to see God, but because they want to see each other.

3) Lastly, we will be passionate worshippers that find more grace in the search for meaning than in absolute certainty, in the questions rather than in the answers. Being a Christian ought to make a difference in our lives, and we want that difference to be seen without wearing our faith on our sleeves. We feel that the best way to evangelize is to set an example by striving to live a Christlike like. Successful evangelism is realized as a result of attraction not force.
